Our Impact and Services

Based in Moorhead, Minnesota, Soweto NFH is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing victim services to individuals who have just experienced trauma. 

We offer a compassionate and supportive environment designed to assist in the healing journey. Through a range of carefully curated resources and experiences, we help survivors transform their pain into strength, empowering them to discover "So where to now from here" as they begin their healing journey.

We provide a safe space for individuals and their identified families of all ages to come and be part of a community. Our services are offered free of charge and include:

• Community Education: We offer educational resources to raise awareness and promote understanding of trauma and healing.
• Virtual and In-Person Groups: We offer safe and supportive group settings to share experiences and find collective healing.
• Community Gatherings: Regular events designed to foster connection and a sense of belonging.
• Transition Assistance: We help provide much-needed safety supports to help individuals navigate their healing journey.

While our specific services are designed to address the unique needs of African Descendants, we are committed to helping any survivor of trauma find their way back to their community and on to a liberated future.
